The idea of regeneration in its widest sense is embraced in projects focusing on both the inner and outer worlds that individuals experience through reflective and tangible means. This manifests in dynamic interfaces between different age and aspiration groups.
Youth Re:Action Team 2006-9
Creative Director to Youth Re:Action Team in Barrow in Furness. Linked with the regeneration agency West Lakes Renaissance, Creative Partnerships Cumbria and local secondary schools and colleges. Working with young people to creatively research regeneration issues and empower them to work with local agencies to design and build a better town that addresses their lifestyle needs. The creative facet of project includes creating promotional material, making a film with Northern Riviera Productions, working with documentary photographer Rob Fraser, creating an interactive website with Red Abbey Web Design and an innovative touring exhibition and roadshow.
