90th Armistice Memorial Scuplture

11 November 2008 marks the 90th anniversary of the ceasefire in World War 1. Student representatives from the three Barrow schools likely to form an academy are working with sculptor Jac Scott to create a suitable three part memorial sculpture that will join together when the schools amalgamate. The sculpture will form a fitting statement to the student's response to war, death, peace and commemoration.
